Use these simple settings to turn SafeSearch on or off

SafeSearch is a feature offered by Google and Windows that helps filter explicit and inappropriate content from search results. However, there may be instances where you want to turn off SafeSearch to access a broader range of search results. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to turn off SafeSearch on your Windows PC, Google Chrome, and on google.com. Let’s get started!

1. On Your Windows PC
To adjust the SafeSearch settings on your Windows PC, follow these steps. Click on the Start menu and select “Settings” icon. Go to click on “Search.”. Here, you’ll find three SafeSearch options: Strict, Moderate, and Off. Strict filters out all adult text, images, and videos, Moderate filters adult images and videos but not text, and Off removes all filters, allowing unrestricted search results. Choose the desired option that suits your preference.

2. On Google Chrome
On Google Chrome, here’s how you can adjust SafeSearch settings. Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the Chrome window. From the dropdown menu, select “Settings.” In the Settings tab, scroll down and click on “Privacy and security.” Within the Privacy and Security section, locate and click on “Security.” Here, you’ll find three Safe Browsing options: Enhanced protection, Standard protection, and No protection. No protection disables Safe Browsing, but it is not recommended as it may expose you to potential risks. Choose the option that best suits your requirements.

3. On google.com
