How to Share Ethernet Internet as WiFi on Windows
Are you looking to share your Ethernet internet connection as WiFi with other devices? Whether you need to provide internet access to your smartphone, tablet, or other devices, this guide will walk you through the process step by step.
1. Connect Your PC with an Ethernet Cable
Ensure that your PC is connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable. This will serve as the source of your internet connection.
2. Navigate to Network Connections
Open the Control Panel from the Start menu. From there, go to Network and Internet, then select Network and Sharing Center. Next, click on Change adapter settings.
3. Change Ethernet to Share WiFi
Right-click on the Ethernet connection and select Properties. In the Properties window, navigate to the Sharing tab. Check the box that says “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection” and choose WiFi from the dropdown menu.
